Volkswagen has a brand-new electric vehicle coming next year, the new Volkswagen ID.4. It will offer two engines and a lot of great features, not to mention impressive cargo capacity.
The new Volkswagen ID.4 is powered by an electric motor that will be available in either RWD or AWD versions. The all-wheel drive model offers 302 horsepower and can reach 100 km/h in under six seconds. The rear-wheel drive trim will offer 201 horsepower.
The battery that powers all of this is an 82-kWh lithium-ion package that can recharge to 80% in just 30 minutes with the fast-charge system. Volkswagen says the ID.4 will have at least 400 kilometres of range.
Volkswagen ID.4s sold in Canada will also get a heat pump that can help heat the cabin without draining the battery.
