Volkswagen has a very clear electrification strategy underway and recently confirmed a new model is coming in its all-electric lineup. Unveiled last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the impressive Volkswagen ID. Space Vizzion is on its way to the market, the news coming directly from Volkswagen’s CEO.
After confirming the Volkswagen ID.4 electric SUV earlier this year, Volkswagen is now moving to a new electric wagon. The ID. Space Vizzion was one of the most talked-about models unveiled last year, and Volkswagen’s CEO Ralf Brandstatter confirmed a production version was coming on LinkedIn.
Although Brandstatter didn’t specifically mention the ID. Space Vizzion, he did say that the upcoming electric vehicle from Volkswagen would be a shooting brake (wagon) and he shared a picture of the ID. Space Vizzion prototype.
Even more impressive than the design is the EV’s range rated at 700 kilometres. Volkswagen says the production model will have similar range as well which will make it one of the most impressive EVs on the market.
No doubt about it, the future is green at Volkswagen.
