A dynamic drive
The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is one of the most fun to drive cars in its class thanks to its German heritage and VW’s reputation for engaging driving dynamics. The 2022 Jetta features a new 1.5L turbocharged engine as standard, making it the only compact sedan to be equipped with a turbo in every trim level. This engine delivers 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, which also makes the Jetta the most powerful car in its class when comparing standard engines. A whole suite of safety features
The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is available with multiple driver assistance technologies, some of which are standard in every model. These technologies are engineered to keep you safe by preventing collisions or mitigating the impact. For example, the IQ.Drive system includes the forward collision warning, which detects an imminent accident in front of the vehicle, the lane keeping assist, which helps you maintain the Jetta in its lane and the rear cross-traffic alert, which warns you when a vehicle is approaching perpendicularly from behind. The 2022 Jetta can even stop safely in its lane and turn on the hazard lights by itself if it detects you have become unresponsive.
More connected than ever
The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is equipped with the Car-Net group of connected features that include the ability to control certain features of the car via your phone or via an Amazon Alexa device. In addition, Car-Net includes the online vehicle health reports, which can let you know your car’s condition in an instant. Another feature included in Car-Net for cars equipped with the navigation system is the Parkopedia app, which allows you to find parking spaces near your current position or a future destination and program the navigation to take you there very easily.
