Unveiled at the Detroit International Auto Show two years ago, the new Volkswagen Jetta quickly became one of the most talked about models in the auto industry. The Volkswagen Jetta is already a very popular compact sedan, and having it completely redesigned just recently is sure to generate a lot of excitement.
For starters, the Volkswagen Jetta is the only car in its segment to be produced in Germany. Just that gives it a refinement and build quality that is second to none. But that's not all. Volkswagen and its engineering team have really done their homework when it comes to the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta.
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is improved from A to Z
With the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta we are entitled to a compact sedan that is improved in every way. For starters, it is built on a new platform called MQB which is the basis for all new Volkswagen vehicles coming out of Germany.
This new platform has several advantages, but it is above all in terms of handling and interior space that we see how it stands out. With this platform as a starting point, the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta will be much more spacious than the model it replaces, both in terms of interior space and in the trunk.
In addition, the MQB platform will improve the handling and general behavior of the new VW Jetta.
In terms of the passenger compartment, there are also several new features, starting with a much more elegant and refined instrument panel which will include in the high-end versions the Virtual Cockpit instrument panel, a 12.3-inch digital screen which can be customized to the needs of the driver and that adds an unmistakable touch of luxury and exclusivity.
A four-cylinder turbo engine for the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta
Under the redesigned hood of the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta we find a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine developing 147 horsepower and an impressive 184 lb-ft of torque. This makes the new 2021 Volkswagen Jetta one of the most powerful cars in its class while an 8-speed automatic takes care of significantly reducing fuel consumption.
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is a unique car in a very important segment. If you like to drive and you want a more refined compact sedan, check out the new Jetta today!
