Interior Upgrade
Volkswagen has significantly updated the interior of the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport for a more luxurious experience. On both models, you can find premium materials like leather upholstery and standard high-end comfort features like three-zone Climatronic air conditioning and ventilated front seats. These vehicles also come with a heated steering wheel as standard equipment.
Enhanced Technology
The refreshed Volkswagen Atlas family also features upgraded technology for a more intuitive experience behind the wheel. Indeed, connectivity is taken to the next level—anchored at its center by an eye-catching 12” infotainment display and 10.25” fully configurable cockpit pro standard across all trim levels, as well as wireless App-Connect, wireless charging, and up to eight USB-C ports with 45W fast charging. Moreover, each model comes equipped with VW’s IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology featuring hands-on semi-automatic capability on highways plus additional features that warn drivers of obstacles in urban environments for improved safety; a head-up display and predictive Adaptive Cruise Control may be included as options.
Upgraded Powertrain
For the redesigned 2024 Volkswagen Atlas family models, a more powerful four-cylinder turbocharged and direct injection TSI replaces the previous VR6 engine to deliver 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque across a wider rev range for added acceleration. An eight-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive are standard. Towing capacity remains unchanged at 5,000 lbs.
Overall, the refreshed Volkswagen Atlas family offers an impressive package for those looking for a mid-size SUV upgrade in style and technology. These vehicles are sure to impress even the most discerning buyer with premium materials inside and out and state-of-the-art tech features like IQ Drive driver assistant systems onboard all trims.
