Remote Access: Control at Your Fingertips
Remote Access, offered at no additional cost for five years from the vehicle purchase date, allows Volkswagen owners to control various aspects of their vehicle through the myVW mobile app. Features include remote start/stop, door lock/unlock, honk and flash of lights, last parked location, and a vehicle status display showing fuel level, mileage, and door/window status. This level of remote interaction adds convenience and a sense of security for owners.
Safe & Secure: Enhanced Safety and Peace of Mind
The Safe & Secure package is a vital component of the Car-Net services for the 2024 models. Complimentary for five years, it includes Emergency Assistance, Information Assistance, Automatic Crash Notification, Anti-Theft Alert, and Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance. These features provide crucial support in emergencies, including automatic notification of first responders in the event of a crash, and assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.
Car-Net Hotspot: Connectivity on the Go
Car-Net Hotspot allows passengers to connect up to four devices to the internet at 4G LTE speeds, making the vehicle a mobile hub for online activities. Additional paid subscriptions enhance the navigation and infotainment experience for vehicles equipped with the MIB3 infotainment system, offering online map updates, traffic reports, fuel prices, and parking information.
