With so many electric vehicles (EVs) on the market, it can be hard to decide which one is right for you. We've got you covered if you're torn between the all-new American-made 2023 VW ID.4 and the Kia EV6. Here are three reasons why the ID.4 comes out on top.
The German automaker has been working hard to develop a range of stylish and affordable EVs, and the 2023 VW ID.4 is a great example of this. With a starting MSRP of $43,995, the ID.4 is $4,000 less expensive than the Kia EV6. This makes it a great option for budget-conscious shoppers who want to get behind the wheel of an EV without breaking the bank.
The ID.4 offers up to 858 litres of cargo space with the rear seats in place, while the Kia EV6 only has 690 litres of space in the same configuration. This extra space is great if you need to haul around larger items or planning a road trip with some friends and need extra luggage room.
When it comes to safety, both the ID.4 and the EV6 are top contenders—but the ID.4 edges out the competition with a 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Euro NCAP by getting a better mark than the EV6 by a few percentage points in the latter.
If you're shopping for an electric vehicle, the 2023 VW ID.4 should definitely be at the top of your list. Its competitive price tag, bigger cargo space, and 5-star safety rating make it hard to beat! Come see us today at Journey Volkswagen of Coquitlam to learn more about the all-new ID.4.
