The new 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan will have a starting price of $32,995 when it arrives in Canada shortly. It will come in four versions including two R-Line trims.
Every 2022 Tiguan features a powerful turbocharged four-cylinder with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, the most powerful engine in the segment. The Tiguan also features 4Motion all-wheel drive standard on every trim. Wheel sizes range from 17 inches to 20 inches, and there are new interior colours including Cinnamon leatherette and Hazelnut leather.
The 2022 Volkswagen gets standard technology as well including the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, heated front seats and steering wheel, and LED lighting. Safety tech is also plentiful and includes Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Emergency Assist.

Each comes with a range of features. It is possible to get rear heated seats, dual-zone climate, ventilated front seats, a power tailgate, 15-colour ambient lighting, navigation, 360-degree camera and a panoramic sunroof in the new Tiguan.
The R-Line models feature 19-inch and 20-inch wheels respectively as well as special bumpers, side sills, black roof rails, and chrome trims.
