After being unveiled last October, the 2022 Volkswagen Taos is now officially going up for pre-order with deliveries scheduled to begin in July. The all-new Taos will come in three versions and offers a standard turbocharged engine as well as impressive features you won’t find in the competition. It also offers Volkswagen’s advanced 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, as well as over 1,800 L of cargo space.
You can contact us today at Journey Volkswagen to reserve your Taos.
Powered by a 1.5 L turbocharged engine that delivers 158 horsepower along with 184 lb-ft of torque, the Taos will be one of the most powerful compact SUVs you can buy despite the fact that will also be one of the most affordable. With a starting price of just $26,695, and $29,195 with available 4MOTION all-wheel drive, the Taos delivers features that you will not find elsewhere such as a standard digital instrument cluster. You also get 17 in aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights, taillights and daytime running lights, push-button start, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an engine start-stop system, Bluetooth, and automatic headlights.
The Comfortline and Highline versions which follow the base model both come standard with 4MOTION all-wheel drive. The Comfortline starts at $32,395 and adds autonomous emergency braking and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert as well as a larger 8-in infotainment screen and two-tone leather seating surfaces along with dual-zone climate controls & keyless access.
The Highline model gives you ventilated front seats, 10-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic power sunroof, leather seating surfaces, a heated steering wheel, and more for just $36,695. You can also add a driver assistance package and optional 19-inch wheels.
