Volkswagen's long and successful history is perfectly illustrated by the 2021 Jetta lineup. True Volkswagen-style design, performance that sets it apart from the competition and an enjoyable driving experience characterize this new Jetta.
Compared to the Kia Forte, the Jetta is a longer compact sedan. This translates into several advantages inside, including more legroom in the rear so your passengers are more comfortable. This is where the 2021 Jetta starts to shine against the 2021 Kia Forte. It has more space and is the more versatile option.
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is a more efficient car
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is the only compact sedan in the segment that was designed in Germany. The Jetta is therefore focused on providing luxury and refinement, but also better performance. The supercharged 1.4L four-cylinder engine produces 147 horsepower and an impressive 184 lb-ft of torque at just 1,500 rpm. The Kia Forte only produces 132 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm on most of its models which is a very considerable difference.
Not only is the Jetta more powerful than the Forte, it is almost more efficient. The Jetta outclasses the Forte in frugality when equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, saving you money at the pump. These versions show a fuel consumption of 7.9 / 5.9 liters per 100 km (city / highway). When equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Jetta is still ahead of Forte models equipped with a continuously variable transmission.
The interior of every Jetta is designed for fun and convenience. Every Jetta has 2 LCD screens, anti-theft audio system, speed-sensitive volume, steering wheel controls, on-screen infotainment system 6.5- or 8-inch touchscreen with App-Connect smartphone integration (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, USB ports and more.
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta also offers a range of exclusive features such as the fully digital instrument cluster available in the top of the line Jetta model. You won’t find this level of luxury in the 2021 Kia Forte.
The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta gives you the driving pleasure you seek combined with performance, efficiency, reliability, advanced features, and a timeless design that shines on the road.
