2021 Volkswagen Atlas improves comfort and safety in style
Growing families need flexible cargo space. Inside, the Atlas offers up to 2,741 liters of fully configurable cargo space. Behind the second row, it offers a generous 1,572 liters.
The three rows also provide generous head, leg and shoulder room. But the Atlas goes further and offers the best legroom in the class in its third row. Combine that with heated front seats that are standard on the base variant, as well as three-zone air conditioning from the Comfortline variant, in addition to the advanced infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and your Atlas is ready for any family adventure.
The Atlas also comes with many safety features from the entry-level Trendline variant. These include: Hill Descent Control, Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Front Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking, Electronic Stability Control and more.
2021 Volkswagen Atlas offers a full lineup of powertrains
The Atlas range includes two advanced motors that offer a level of power perfectly suited to all types of driving. Available in Trendline, Comfortline, and Highline models, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder generates 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
The Tiguan lineup also offers an optional 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. This engine is standard in the Execline variant.
Each model is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission mated to the acclaimed 4MOTION all-wheel drive system so you can tackle winter and all the harsh road conditions that come with it.
The available R-Line Package also adds a lot of style to the Atlas, with 21-inch Braselton alloy wheels, brushed stainless steel pedals with an aluminum look, an R-Line exterior design and a heated leather-wrapped sport steering wheel featuring the R-Line emblem.
