Both models are equipped with all-wheel drive, but the Tiguan offers a FWD model for buyers who don’t need AWD.
The 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan has many other features not found in the Forester
The Tiguan offers five driving modes that add safety and fun to any trip. Essential for Canadian winters, the snow mode allows the Tiguan to manage snowy and icy roads in complete confidence. The on-road, off-road and custom off-road modes allow you to create the optimal driving parameters for your adventure. Subaru's X-Mode system does not provide the ability to customize and adjust settings for off-road conditions.
The Tiguan also includes other features that you won't find in the Forester. The optional hands-free tailgate makes your life a lot easier when your hands are full. Rain sensing wipers work at the right time and help keep your hands on the wheel. And the third row of the Tiguan allows the vehicle to grow with your family. There are other exclusive features such as the Virtual Cockpit, a digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel that you won’t find in any other vehicle.
