The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport has finally arrived in Canada after being unveiled back in October. As the 5-seater version of the traditional Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport starts at $38,995 and packs an impressive list of standard features. Building on the popularity of the Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport is a 5-seater SUV that boasts ample interior space while offering advanced connectivity and new driver assistance features.
Available in three versions, Trendline, Comfortline, and Execline, the Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport will be powered by two engines. The Trendline version will be driven by the 2.0 L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which develops 235 horsepower. The Atlas Cross Sport Comfortline will offer the same 2.0 L turbo as standard but also, optionally, the 3.6 L V6 engine offering 276 horsepower. Finally, the Execline version will only offer the most powerful V6 engine. All of these engines will be coupled with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport 2020 will offer the marvellous 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system as standard, which means you will enjoy optimal traction and stability in any condition.
Clearly, Volkswagen wanted to provide peace of mind to Atlas Cross Sport buyers when it included safety technologies such as Side Assist blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision assistance, and lane departure warning. These are offered as either standard or available technology.
The Atlas Cross Sport may be slightly smaller than its big brother, the Atlas, but it's still quite spacious with 1,141 litres of total cargo space. That’s more than the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Edge, or Nissan Murano!
Discover why the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is one of this year’s most anticipated new models. We look forward to helping you today.
